Ok, peeps, I have been busy with several good projects .
Thank you, Dan B. , for your kind thoughts. I do value exhibiting a happy, positive heart , to be encouraging. Such a heart is so much healthier to hold onto in life . Balanced reality appreciated. And it shows, inside and out. You're right about any forays, though those have been done in the state. I was invited to Alaska again, but this time I took a rain check.
Snowy, you're too funny

For a few days, I have been asked to haul a stock trailer full of drafts to the portage of the wilderness. I'm asked to take up the slack in hunt season at times . This year it was a big hunt with several hunters . I hauled the drafts , helped with gear , helped the camp cook, and stood guard with my Weatherby as the men processed three elk . In an area that grizzlies have learned to investigate at the sound of shots . Gorgeous country, but very thick with large timber. I always enjoy this job. This time, I returned with some nice sections of elk for my freezer.
In between, I took more trips to spend time in my favorite town , with groups of veterans , target shooting, arranging in tandem with them, a program for vets , once a week, of enjoyable healing time , in the company of their brothers, gathered to hear me read aloud to them from interesting books . A decent amount of vets have eagerly supported this new volunteer program , encouraging and helping to arrange details , that has them happy and is a nice distraction from their daily cares. I look forward to that, they are so enjoyable and appreciative to be around .
I have had several profound , remarkable life events presented to me recently, the ones I've mentioned included . Present in the moment for them all. Living well.
The Amur/Siberian Tigers I began as a nice art project , has been temporarily on hold until I feel like getting back to finishing it. Jack's death took the wind out of me for a while . At least I had the chance to send him the beginning outlines of the tigers , for him to see it and enjoy , just before he left. They are the same type tigers he used to work with in Russia. He inspired this art . I will finish it , though.
Last but not least, Aretha, my semi wild rabbit, just had a litter of new babies...again. Still no sign at all of where the male is. My astonished detective enigma continues. The babies, two of them, are cute as wee stuffed dolls . I keep paths shoveled for them in the snow so they don't get lost. I know you will smile at this, Angela.
Since buzzard made this on the open forum, instead of sending a private message, I will give a little catch-up so no one worries. I surely don't want any worries .
Anti Gov, no worries , I have just been busy . There are no minions on this forum, anyway

Have a wonderful December , peeps , hopefully in snow. It's snowing here and cold. The mountains are lovely.
