Anybody still drink it or is it a bygone Era?9

I would drink it but I would have to have a cow and milk it myself as it is illegal to sell raw milk here.

There's a small several cow "dairy" that sells raw milk for human consumption, here on the Island.....used to be it could only be sold for "pets", rules changed a few years ago.

I have drank many gallons of raw milk. I rarely drink milk now as there are no more small dairies here. It was easy to get around the around the raw milk consumption laws. Dairymen just had you write on the jar lid not for human consumption.

About the only way to get it here in MI is to have a herd or be friends with a dairy farmer. You can get it through a "farmshare" deal.

Other than that technically, it's illegal to sell raw milk. Even at farm markets or roadside stands where it's labeled as such.

Just last month they started a bill to get the law changed I heard.

I want to but can't find a "dealer".

We drink it from our family cow Lilly. I dream of having a small dairy someday, maybe when my kids grow up a bit.

We do, started the kids on raw milk vs store bought about 6-8 months ago. There are a ton of dairys selling raw milk and cream in my area, including some that sell it in stores.

Never bought it tho, it was a perk from milking cows

on a small dairy so the farmer could go bowling or to pay the rent

Had about a 20 year run of drinking/ using goat milk, but been a few years now

Grew up drinking raw milk. Never had store milk until I went to college and the stuff would gag me.

Grew up on a dairy but never drank anything it because my parents were terrified we’d die from it…..Been drinking raw for the last 2 years with my wife and kids. It’s awesome. Never going back. I liken it to homemade vs store bought bread.

It's coming back but hard to find

Drank it daily on the farm for decades when we had a Grade A Dairy set - up on the farm. Our bulk tank cooled the raw milk down to 38 degrees and there was nothing better than dipping your paper cup in the tank on a hot summer day or any other day/night for a refreshing cold drink. It was exceptionally good after a night out on the town.

We drank raw milk right out of the holding tank at my grandfather's dairy farm. Mom would skim the cream for her coffee, or to make butter once in a while. Then we would shake it up to drink or cereal. Nice rich milk. That was close to 50 years ago.

You can buy raw milk here at the local natural food store and from folks online.
