Nice!! The tagged goose would interesting where it was tagged and age etc. Thanks It was banded in 2022 and hatched in 2021 or earlier. Was banded in Nunavut. 1700km from there to where I shot it. Was last hunt of the year on November 9th. First banded bird I have ever got in 15 years of chasing geese

So how do you prepare them to be eaten? We used to shot some here but they did not taste so good, the gizzards were the best part to me>>>>>>JK

Nice pictures! I haven't gotten out for waterfowl this year, but I'm planning on some late season goose hunting. One of my favorite things to do is field/layout hunting and I wish I had more opportunity to do it.
Just happy to be here.

Awesome Sask!!! So how do you prepare them to be eaten? We used to shot some here but they did not taste so good, the gizzards were the best part to me>>>>>>JK I’ve never found a bad way to cook a Canada goose JK. Fried, grilled, baked corned, Jerky, sausage all taste like beef to me and I don’t get along with “gamey” taste very well at all.
