With the new camp this fall. Didn't get the roof truss until 3 weeks ago. [Linked Image]

Finished up the gable on the far side and under the porch yesterday. About 6 more boards on the roof peek and I am going to clean the snow off and tarp it until spring and then finish up the roof with water shield and metal. I am looking forward to getting back at it in the spring. I will be putting in the interior walls and some things this winter but I am going to take a little break and do some trapping between now and the rest of the year.

330 it's a big job for a single person to take on. I had help putting the trusses up. They are 44 ft wide 6 12 pitch with the off set peek made it a challenge to get up.

My wife has 18 months until she can retire so I think I can get it ready to move in by then.

Trying to get help from my stepchildren is like pulling teeth. One called me up tonight asking if I needed help. Wasn't there last week. [Linked Image]

Someone was asking for more pictures but I am not able to get to many when I am doing the work.

… reason I’m asking is it’s getting stupid around here in the winters lately… got pipe from the well to the house buried … but pipes will freeze in the attic even with a little insulation… it’s amazing to me how yall keep running water

… shoot about every pipe in the county that wasn’t drained busted a few years ago

… our little town looked like a quaint Alaskan village for several days lol

Leave your water running a little bit when it's cold and it won't freeze

I know about leaving the water dripping… but it still froze on me doing that once when it stayed below freezing for a couple days

… and where do yall put your pressure tanks ? … I would think they would freeze in your climate

.. sorry to bother you with the questions… I just find it interesting to see a house up off the ground where you live as that’s how we build them down here
