Title says it all. Go vote or end up with a representative that hates you and has said so on many occasions. Call a friend or two also and get them to the poles
Everything the left touches it destroys

… if the Yanks had lost …we wouldn’t even be having these close elections on wether a man can have a gun or not
… also wouldn’t have all the nonsense that the gun control advocates use against the 2nd going in either
Insert profound nonsense here

I understand your sentiment but it just isn't so. The armed conflict that became the Rev war began in New England which now is just a little behind Oregon in liberal insanity. Society changes and people's social and political views change. In your own state, Houston, the city named for the former President of the Republic of Texas, is a hotbed of liberalism, as is Austin and a number of other big cities. It seems to me to be more a battle between rural and city. I hate the politics here in Va because it is ruled by the liberals in the NE part of the state. Local politics here in the southwest of the state are solidly conservative, although we do have some snowflakes. The same is true of Illinois where I have a number of friends that live down state from the Chicago area.

+9 last night in a +22 for Trump district . . not good, especially considering what a whacko the left candidate was But....it's still a win.

When i moved my wife to Lynchburg for work, the stark contrast between SW Virginia and NoVA was troubling. Like you said, there were a few Harris/Walz signs around Lynchburg but not many. More trucks with dog boxes than Harris signs. But as soon as you head towards the Beltway, you definitely saw a shift.

Even with lower voter turn out the win at 9 percent follows pretty close to other special elections, basically nothing can be deemed from this election. I agree nothing to be deemed, but there is something to be learned. In early voting Behn the Dem led by 14K votes, 17K to Epps 3K approx. Behn got more votes in Davidson Co in early voting than she did on election day. 33K of the 81K total votes for Behn came from the portion of Davidson Co in the 7th district that includes part of Nashville. Every other county in the district, all 13 of them, went for Epps. The lesson is that early voting can make a difference. It didn't in this race with its wide margin, but with closer margins it can be the difference between a win and a loss. Folks that have taken advantage of early voting opportunities have voted and been counted. Folks that don't just plan to vote on election day, and sometimes plans don't work out. A sick kid, bad weather, fight with the spouse, flat tire, offer of 8hrs OT, whatever, stuff happens. Dems have been smart to take advantage of early voting and the Repubs have not.
