Do any of you use a Google Voice phone number, when selling online or for other purposes? They are supposed to make it harder for people to hack your accounts by mimicking your phone number. Supposedly it's a free service. I only just heard about it and I am looking into using it.

If you use Google Voice, what do you think about it?

I use a google voice number when selling items on Facebook. Pretty much seamless on my end. However, some people are suspicious of google voice. So, I would post " you can contact me at my Google Voice number" to lessen their -This must be a scam concerns.

Thanks. Can they tell it's a Google voice number when they call it. Facebook is exactly what I want to use it for.

I have one just for kicks. The number comes up on caller id, it doesnt say your name or google voice.

I don't think people will pay money for THOSE types of pictures of you.

Used it for an emergency phone for the kids if they were home alone. Currently don't have as they have their own phones and if you don't use it periodically they will deactivate it.
