I found two old traps on a farmstead. They are a scissor-style RBG. They have no name or identifying marks, but they do have “PAT PENDING” stamped on the bottom of the mounting bracket, so they must’ve been commercially sold.

Anyone know anything about this rig?

I think it’s called a shur pelt and it was made in North Dakota. I remember the ads in fur fish game as a kid in the 70’s
