I've read a few tips on fixing the sensitivity of these triggers. Most of them are to replace the trigger. Does anybody have a tip or solution to make them less sensitive without replacement? I get them ti what I think is seat good then when I go to place them in the box...blame it goes off.
And what I mean is, using them for marten. I can't hardly get them in the box without them going off.. I hold the springs when I'm putting them in the box I'm not even touching the trigger.
Thanks

Sometimes it’s not the dog notch but that the trigger notch is too shallow and the dog notch isn’t making full contact with the bar. It’s being held up slightly because the trigger notch is holding the dog up slightly.

I’ve found that on a lot of 110s and 120s, especially with replacement triggers. I often have to file the trigger notch a little deeper to let the dog sit down where it should. Filing the dog notch deeper if the trigger notch is too shallow doesn’t help.

Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.

Bingo! Good tip, Marty. I have found the same thing.

Just doing what I want now.
