I tried something new tonight. Walleye and shrimp with roasted vegetables. It was a hit.

Nessmuck Walleye is quite common here. I didn't realize you don't have them up there. These ones happen to be Lake Erie walleye.

Honestly the part that surprised us the most from this dish was how good the roasted peppers were. They were fantastic.

Yeah we are but it could be worse. We are right on the tail end of where most of the major snow drops. If we get a 1 foot snowfall, you can go 10 miles to the west of us and it will likely be 2 feet. However if you go 5 miles to the east of us they usually miss it completely. But our snows are nothing like they get on Tug hill off the end of Lake Ontario. Thats some serious snow they get over there. I think the worst I have ever seen at one time was about 4 feet but thats rare here.

Walleye are a fine meal anytime ! My favorite ones are between 12" - 16" anything larger than that are released before the last cold snap the river fishing was rather good a jig and a minnow were the hot ticket combo .

You're friend along the snare line .

Perch are my favorite fish to eat. But, walleyes are a close second.

If your watch says you can swim with it, it only applies if you can already swim without it I learned.

I catch more sauger and saugeyes than walleye, but all three are very similar and very good to eat.

I love walleyes. But there is no good walleye fishing near us so we make due with bass.

United we stand.
