For your own use amber is fine if you market it clear might be better people will want to see the color to know it’s not messed with. Use metal caps preferably with pulp or foil liners to slow evaporation. Essence will eat plastic so using glass and metal is the best combo, bottle it in the size bottle you plan to sell it in to prevent transfer loss. My buyers like 4 ounce bottles it cuts down on them messing with it themselves and it’s pre measured for them. Some guys use bigger bottles but theres down sides to that with over exposer issues and expensive breakage if a bottle breaks. The way my buyers likes his prepared.

We use mostly boston rounds with polyseal caps. Don't have a problem with them breaking down from the essence while in storage for a few years. Clear is the bottles we prefer. I want to see what is in the contents and how much mustard is contained in the essence. We store all of our bulk essence in the dark or wooden a large wooden box. Is more or less mustard preferred? Curious since I don’t know

Nice looking product It’s tool grip liquid rubber I got the idea off of here I find a cap that’s a bit bigger than the bottles then wipe them clean and dip them. Plastic caps will work if the pure essence is not in continuous contact with the plastic caps but if it’s touching the plastic for long periods it will melt it quickly but even the metal caps will eat away under some conditions like high moisture areas. Best to have a pulp or foil barrier if you’re going to store it for long periods of time. Freezing seems to slow the evaporation process some.

One reason I gather my own essence I trust one guy that I market his stuff with mine I’m not letting some crooks ruin my reputation by selling me junk essence. Even with our numbers being down we managed to collect 70 ounces this year.

Buy your bottles a caps together some of the Boston rounds take different size caps creating unnecessary headaches. I bought some yote lure once with a cap that’s barely fit it was too big I could not tighten it down without skipping.
