The other thread on ammo stockpiling made me think of it.

I noticed this fall while getting prepped with stuff I didn't need at several stores locally and online, ammo is definitely back and available. Several local stores even had 32 spl, 35 Rem, 7x57, 300 Sav. !! It was like old times.

Even some of the more oddball (these days) calibers. Prices are down slightly and there are deals to be had.

Here's your reminder to stock up before the next shortage hits. Ammo and components. Doesn't go bad sitting on a shelf.

I buy ammo I don’t need to sell to those that walk by it when it’s cheaper then call me a hoarder when they need what the kept walking on by. LOL

AAC ( PSA) announced suspending manufacturing, can't get powder.
Powder manufacturers busy filling mil contracts around the world as demand increases.

I even found some Remington 20 ga. slugs a few weeks ago. First time in a long time I've seen those on the shelf.

Thank you, Badger. I should be in good shape for awhile now since I stocked up when I found them. It's actually my daughter that uses them, and her gun shoots those sluggers accurately, and throws other brands all over the place.
I'll let you know if we run low and can't find anymore!

I found 3 inch 20 gauge accu tips at a local gun store last year before deer season opened. Hadnt seen any in a long time and the price had went up significantly.

I see midway has a good selection of 20 ga. slugs, including the sluggers and accutips.

That smooth bore slug barrel I bought from you shoots 69 caliber round balls just fine to at least 50 yards. Lots cheaper than slugs. I just load them with ounce and an eighth data pushing them into the bottom of the wad. Bought a mould from lee. Have not not shot anything but targets but I bet would work on big stuff.
