I little kid in Oregon got attacked by a pit bull in the last week or so, they lived but the pictures where hard to look at. I had a hound once bite a kid, he died on the chain by a shovel right there and then.

From some stories that I've read they were aware they had a problem and had reached out for help. Animal control wasn't helpful.
Yet, if they had done what they should've done by just shooting the dogs I'm sure animal control would've been johny on the spot to charge them for it.

Sad tragedy that never should of happened.

legal here to shoot dogs . if on my property they woulda got thinned out

And people will continue to claim pit bulls make wonderful pets.

Probably not and has never shown aggression toward any of us

But it is not worth risking the slightest chance and living with the regret

Dad had a dog given to him once.
It showed aggression toward my nephew when he got him home and it was put down.
