Anyone switch to their cellular service. I see they are offering unlimited talk/text/data for $29.95/mo per line, guaranteed for life. I'm ready to tell Verizon to pound sand. It would save me about $50/mo.

Consumer cellular is about the same in the $30 range just know they are part of AT&T keeping mind that every provider sucks the service is terrible or nonexistent it seems like. I read that Verizon wanted to own your number now to retain customers that were fleeing them.
So the cell providers would rather hold your number ransom then provide you with better service that’s the state of the cellular industry today. I find it ironic that you can’t get ahold of a phone provider when you need to but that’s not just them it’s a common practice in many business.

2 lines unlimited Home Internet $360, yes $360 Thanks Verizon Depending on what you use for internet you may be able to just get unlimited phone plan and use a mobile hotspot for internet. That's what I'm currently doing and it seems to work okay though we don't use a ton of internet or do online games, etc.

The wife tried a Walmart phone can’t remember what provider (straight talk) maybe but they must sell that number to marketers she was getting endless spam calls for months.
After the nightmare of switching over to Consumer Cellular it’s hasn’t been that bad and the billing is consistent but it took a while to get there. $30 for one line but theres nothing better out there that I would jump to.

My two lines with Verizon have unlimited talk/text and 4 GB of data per month for $118.72. For the record, if you go into your Verizon account and go to the area to request a transfer pin #, they will immediately offer a $20/mo discount on your current plan for a year just by clicking a box. Tells me, they are charging too much!

BTW, we buy our phones outright (unlocked). I haven't been locked into a plan for 10 years, or better.

I have been using Puretalk for 5 years. I had to replace my phones when I switched. I have been paying 64.00 for 3 lines since then, I have not noticed a difference in coverage. Very happy I switched and have saved a lot of money. Rush used to promote them and was a deciding factor.
Help yourself.

I would check with Puretalk before you buy a phone, I had a brand new Samsung and I had to replace it. Still glad I switched.

We just switched. Took advantage of the unlimited $29.95 for life deal.
Saving $1400 a year from AT&T.
So far my local service has improved as I can use both Verizon and AT&T towers now. With the big two I only get service in about half my county.
You have to buy a phone or bring your own with that deal. Which is no big deal as nobody gives away phones anymore. I haven’t been “given” a phone in years.

I don't have a smart phone, just an old flip phone. It is all I really need. I have been paying $30 a month for many years now. I can't see paying what folks are paying monthly who have smart phones. Well, I will have unlimited data and unlimited talk/text for $30/mo. I just called and made the switch to Pure Talk. Cut my bill in half. And I don't need a computer anymore. My Smartphone cost $179. I can, literally, file my taxes with my phone.
