This is last nights sunset that I was blessed with while setting traps.



I like to call these moments Heaven Hugs. Last night's was a little more special - with feelings of peace and love. My wife had just texted that her big sister just passed. Brenda has been fighting cancer for 7 years and fought valiantly with dignity and grace.

It's a bittersweet moment when we mourn her loss but are happy her suffering is over and she has returned to be with the Lord. I had dinner with my wife and her parents when i got home. There were no tears, just a lot of smiles and tender memories and a lot of comfort that Brenda was a lifelong desciple of Christ and we know she went back home. And we know it won't be long and it will be our sunset and we'll be reunited again.

Last night while deer hunting I was was blessed with an awesome sunset. Then 30 minutes later a just as impressive full moon rising above the horizon. No pics as my phone doesn't do it justice and we were in deer recovery mode
