If you are set on trying to hit the 4000fps mark with 50 grain bullets, look around for some current Sierra data. Ive got a "one caliber" reloading book for the swift that is from 2000. It's got the compilation of data from all the manufacturers back then and there is data for 50 grain Sierra's at 4000 fps. Not sure if that's still the case but might be a starting point for you. Somewhere I've got much older reloading books and recall there were more 4000+ loads but I assume they decided it wasnt prudent to publish those any longer

I will guarantee a yote won't know if the bullet was doing 3850 or 4050..
