That is a fact sir. He doesn’t sit around on “disability”, welfare or “unemployment”. He is out there earning his way, doing what needs to be done.

You’re doing great Dave! A man that earns his way.

It’s deer hunting, not deer passing.

They call hunting cats, working cats, there only $10 at humane society an don't recommend them for house cats, there for a barn or out bldg for mice to control, otherwise there $85 for a cat, last time I was at humane society looking at a cat, I pet one an all sudden it bit hard an draw blood an claw a workers arms all up, luckily I didn't get that one an take home

Sounds like you better make your selection carefully Dave. That’s a good deal since they are probably fixed and have all their shots. If you get one and can, you’re welcome to text a picture of it to me and I’ll post it on here for you.

We tried to get a couple of working/barn cats from a local shelter when we got down to one outside cat. There was a long questionnaire to fill out and they wanted a $35.00 "donation." They want you to be a farm or at least a "farmette" with a little bit of acreage.

They ultimately turned us down because they said my property was too close to a road. IDK if thy were fixed or not, but assume they are.

We ended up with four kittens from the neighbor, had them fixed and they are now good all good mousers.

Eh...wot?

Dave asked me to post this picture of the new cat he got. Say's he hasn't named it yet...

Good deal Dave! I hope it brings you good company and some happiness. When picking the name, I'd advise against calling it "Savell". I made that mistake and I'm paying for it with a pain in the arse cat.

Let us know what you end up with for a name. I think "Angela" would be a good name for it.

Glad you got a new companion Dave. I always teased my daughter that she picked stripper names for her cats. One was Pandora the other was Spice.

I’ve always thought names of cities of the world makes cute names….
Cairo
Sochi
Venice

Many to choose from.
But she will tell you as you learn her personality.

Looks like Mittens on front feet. Mittens would be a good name, or I always liked Missy for a cat's name.

I was trying to think of a good girls name that is outdoors/trapping related. You could call her twenty-two, or Minky, Coony, Muskrat, Vicky (victor traps), etc...

Well, the white on her back feet looks like socks, You could have Socks & Mittens, that would be a cute combo of names.
