Bill Ilchik's "Wild West Bobcat Trapping" book is available again for a limited supply. Bill's book will help you perfect the exposed trap walk through set, improve your fur handling immensely, and make a cat snarer out of you. You can get the book from John Graham at Fur Country Lures. The supply is extremely limited so I wouldn't stand around.

Just dusted mine off and reread it again. Picked up some ideas that I never picked up from the other reads or I have forgotten. Good info in those pages.

I think John just got his shipment so you'll need to call. His number is on that website link above. Good luck.

Yes, Lazarus is right, we didn’t have time to get it on our website, so phone orders are only way we can sell them right now. (It’s a busy time of year!)

I’ve been reading trapping books for 50 years, and there are some great ones out there for sure, but when you think about it, most are on canines, beaver, and just about everything else.

There really hasn’t been much written on bobcats, and Bill’s book, and now Tracy Truman’s new book, are providing information that isn’t ‘filler’ or methods derived after a handful of animals. These guys live the life, and know bobcats and bobcat harvesting inside and out. Their demos at Coyote Days (along with many others) have shaped the way many very successful trappers operate.

These guys are the real deal, and the methods they both describe in their books are truly ‘State of the Art.

I wish it was available 40 years ago!
