I have two or three. Aluminum one that fits my big Alaskan #9 traps. Stainless steel one and a half a baking pan with a handle kind as well.

Part way down left side of this page is a picture of one you can make. Depends on the condition of your snow, as to how effective they are and how you use them. If you have good snow then you don't need them as much or at all. This picture should get you going.

I think I have seen those before, though I never used one. My wife has one in the closet with a small handled broom.

I use a empty 5 gallon bucket scoop toss in air, repeat till covered

Yes, but not needed now as a large teflon Frying Pan works better just tie it onto a long stick / pole. Herbert Lenon's Classic DVD shows one in use by the master.
