It's obscene how much ammo I've got in my reloading room for various rifles and shotguns. I don't believe I'm a hoarder, I just like to reload and it seems to have accumulated over the years. My son says if the house ever catches fire, they'll have to evacuate the county.

I shoot thousands of 22 LR a year and 200 rounds out of at least 20 different rifles, then stockpile some for WTSHTF. its only money!

Took three shots this year. Two doe and a buck. Did not sight in before the season opened. One doe ran a few yards, the others were DRT. Was given another buck. Freezer is full of burger. Burned three 270 rounds so far. May hunt again before our New Year closure. Got to get my bed sheets and four wheeler to bring home.

I must be the Scrooge of big game ammo. Just finished the box of 20 for my 7mm-08 I built some years ago. They accounted for nineteen deer. Lucky enough to not have to shoot more than once at each deer to take them. Was taught to hunt deer by a depression era grandfather who treated bullets like they were gold and though he wasn’t a sniper lived one shot one kill. If you couldn’t you weren’t a hunter, just a shooter. I guess it stuck. Rinse was for practice.

In all honesty 19 times I took the shot I never had the chance to take second as once hit they were off and moving thru our too heavy woods get another or down. Except once at the largest buck I’ve taken off our land that stumbled into the next shooting lane from the one I shot in. I was hunting alone that day and am colorblind so I can’t blood trail so I shot a second time for insurance. I hope Gramps forgave me.

If I hit where I aimed ,and it has, I clean it, hard case it and good enough for me. I guess someday I could be penalized for not preseason testing it. I just know this second box of ammo cost way more than last one years ago, lol.

Welp got him a a box loaded up for his AR10 , his lil .243 and his 770. Ramshot TAC under a 150gr interlock for the .308's and a 85gr game king over some ramshot Hunter for the .243.... He (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) all over three round a pop at my phone target and said he was good ... Was hitting everything he wanted with the .243 but the .308's.... Things where whooping on my ole man but he's a big .308 guy so what can ya do....now to work on mine
