Checking beaver traps on a lake dam crossover. Walking down the dam face, I slipped on the wet clay but caught myself before going arse over teakettle. But not before sitting down hard on a beaver stob. Maybe it was the saw briar around my throat that caught me. Fortunately, the impact was off-center, and I won't be turning the other cheek any time soon, lol.
