gcs OP trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 South shore L.I. N.Y.	Didn't want to go off course on the lousy shoe thread, .... I wear rubber boots most days, and the short pull ons for regular wearing..... Tried Xtra tuffs, Grundens, Mucks, a couple cheap Chinese brands.....They're all made in China, or "overseas", can't find a pair that doesn't fail in under 6 months, mostly cracks in the uppers where they flex......Doesn't seem to matter if they're expensive name brands or cheap Amazon imports...... So, does anyone, maybe you Alaska or Northwest guys have any luck with this type of boot? any suggestions? Thanks

Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	I’ve been wearing Western Chief mid length boot I bought on close out at Bomgaars around the home place easy on easy off for walking the dogs or short trips outside or to town. Holding up pretty well so far. I’d post a pic but it upsets me the children it seems. LOL Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that! Jerry Herbst
