Never used it, but with that said, I know personally folks

that swear by it, especially the just mice

You won't go wrong in giving it a try, Caven doesn't accept failure I

I'm not a big numbers coyote catcher but had very good results with Hiawatha Valley and some of Caven's lures.

I've done very well with the Hiawatha Valley bait.

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

I don't have any steel in the ground this season.

Last season the yotes liked the Hiawatha Valley and Gusto plenty well.

Used it for several years with good success. I had a lot better luck with his milder version Minnesota Valley predator bait too.
I did switch to using other makers baits in the last few years and haven’t bought any Hiawatha valley since I switched. Lots of good bait makers out there.

Tim was always very helpful if I had questions, too.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I've used it a little every year. Have caught just about everything here on it. Fox, coyote, bobcat and fisher. I don't have big numbers of coyote and not a lot of time in the dirt before the snow comes also.

If it is as good as some of their lures I would roll with it and not think twice.

Often times the attractant is not the problem.

Good luck in the following months.

I bought a gallon of it, it’s not my favorite but not the worst either. It’s pretty rank, I prefer a fresher smelling bait. Kaatz bros red label might be my favorite lately.

I seldom use bait except at cat cubbies I go with lure and urine mostly at regular type sets. I make my own mouse bait but I like to age it until it’s sweet it takes a few years under the right conditions it comes out like candy with a very “sweet” odor to it.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

It’s my go to,,, I’ve caught lots of fur with it.. coyote, fox, raccoon.
I’ve had coyotes digging out those bait holes clear into march…. Long after the season is over and all the bait is gone. That smell lingers in there… potent stuff

I used it a lot over the years, and had a lot of refusals on coyotes. When I started using it more like a lure, with lesser amounts, the refusals were less frequent. I feel that loud lures and baits, used in dirt holes, with mild temps, can be frustrating. You are catching coyotes, so I’m guessing that the bait is too strong, or they don’t like it!
I would bet that after the season, those holes will get dug out several times as the smell gets less and less.
