ALL FIVE of the chief legislative proponents of that Bill are Democrats...

ALL FIVE.

crazy

That was supposed to happen when we changed the name of pancake syrup. Really sorry to hear this Carl !! I know how you feel. Our Democrat Governor is pushing to ban all furbearer harvest here, or just make it as difficult as possible. Real POS!!

Gaslighting pure and simple. Joseph Goebbels was a master of telling the "BIG LIE". That appears to be the playbook.

Relax, troll. He’s not celebrating this legislation.

Of course he's not celebrating it. He's a beaver trapper. But he had to know this was a likelihood when he casted his votes, year after year, for the people that push for this sort of crap.

Let’s say BP never existed - does that mean this legislation would have never passed?

Im seeing a trend that white marlin generally only chimes in to make a thread political (against the rules) and bash people. Let’s stick to Savell’s recent theme and be a little more compassionate. It’s the holidays, after all.

if calling out Trappers who vote for a particular party, then complain about the legislation they champion is "bashing", then I'm sure Paul or a moderator will tell me to stop.

in case you haven't figured it out, elections have real world consequences, whether you want to realize it or not.

I heard they took all BP's pictures of dead beaver off t-man and presented them as evidence of beaver getting wiped out in Oregon and causing impaired water. He is almost 10% to blame.

As for Democrats controlling Oregon, that is a done deal regardless of BP's vote.

Only way you can vote left is to have the ability to not put cause and effect together

Boy you guys are having fun. LOL

A lot of folks seem to know more about me and my voting habits than I would have suspected...

But for the sake of a good discussion, I will say this: Republican candidates would be much easier to vote for if so many of them were not in lockstep with Trump who is an abomination and a disgrace to our country.

BTW, I did not vote for Oregon's current Governor who signed HB3932 into law.

curious which America First policies you find abominable.

I have some reservations about a few of his actions; but on the whole, his policies are pretty darn good. (I can't think of a SINGLE Harris/Obama/Biden action that I'm on board with.)

That would be the subject for another thread. Dis-railing this one and its subject is not where I'm going. Its intent was to inform OREGON's beavers trappers about implementation of the new law so they can plan accordingly.

Leroy, You're absolutely right about keeping it compassionate being the Holidays. But what's frustrating is that Democrat politicians have glommed onto trapping, hunting and using fur as a way to gin up votes for themselves, even if they don't know or understand anything about it. I think we all agree that wildlife management should be free of politics, but unfortunately this is now a hot button issue with the Democrat political machine.
