I'm trying to trap nest predators and cats. Coons and possums going pretty good till it got cold Saturday night. Cold last night too. Not expecting coon or possum today either. Still no cats. Will be check # 4 today. Had plenty of time yesterday for more cat sets. Cross your fingers for me. Think CRS may be be the culprit.

Forgot to open the damper when I started my fire this morning. Thought the spark arrester plugged up. Checked it no problems. Got a lantern lit and saw the damper through the haze. Cleared up pretty good now but was bad for a minute.

Yeah CRS is problem for guys our age. You smoke yourself out? or wasn't it that bad?

Opened the doors and shivered outside for a bit. Should have put clothes on. Stuck my feet in my boots and stood atound in my long johns outside. Fire feels good now though. Bout time to fix breakfast

Cats will be on the prowl for some warm protein with the colder temps. If you are in some good cat country I am betting on a catch soon. I think we all catch the CRS moments along the way, don't feel like you are special or something.

I think everyone has a bout with CRS from time to time.

You definitely have awesome looking country for cats. I think about that every time I take I-35 out your way.

I use to have a cap with that on it but I don't remember what happened to it.
