Rat_Pack trapper R Joined: Jan 2007 NY	March is when most of it is done here... Warmer days and cold nights is when the sap usually flows the best... I just broke down a gallon into small jars for Xmas presents. It's good stuff!!

Macthediver trapper Joined: Dec 2006 La Crosse, WI	Snowy Like other have said tree tapping here is usually in late February and March. In years past sometime after the first of the year. Someone here on Tman will start a Maple Syrup tree tapping post. Then lots gets posted on how it done. There should be posts in the archives if you know how to do the archives thing.
