.... TO HAVE A GOOD DAY! Happy Tuesday, all. Everyone managing the cold well? We've experienced a brief chill, and Ohio's climate has been unpredictable. Temperatures have fluctuated between windchill in the negatives and expected highs in the 50's by Thursday. I'm eagerly awaiting the deer hunters to harvest a deer or considering roughing it on public land. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/12/full-12632-278782-1000015686.jpg) Enjoy this photo of me loading the wood burner, courtesy of my daughter's photography skills. Who else has an outdoor wood burner? Definitely my favorite type of heat. Haven't had to pay for propane as of late.

Bought my house and moved in Jun '78, first thing I did was install a brick wall in a corner and a Timberline wood stove. Shut off the furnace, pilot light and all, the next spring a guy from the gas co and a cop showed up on a Sun am to check me and my meter out. LOL Never looked back. Been working great for 47 years. That's a LOT of firewood, but it's getting harder to put up these days. Will turn 77 next Feb.

Yep, I have been running my Heatmor outdoor wood burner for 22 years now. And I wouldn't trade it for any other heat. Amen! We also have a corn burner inside. It’s warm here now, burning wood through a hitzer 82, looking at an outdoor burner just trying to figure out which brand, kinda like the Royall, looked at others but not sure as Royall doesn’t have a dealer close. Let me know what you find, not a huge fan of the one I have. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/12/full-42071-278844-img_2167.jpeg) Cold outside but toasty inside Love it and I also love the vacuum lol

I did not know there were corn burners still around, last time I researched them, the nitrogen in the corn was destroying the stoves… I have a outside boiler.. it’s a empire.. really nice.. the government basically shut them down I suppose it is a pellet burner, that's what I use in it. I guess I just call it a corn burner since that was what it was advertised as when I bought it.
