Wind gusts 50 to 60 mph since 5:00 A.M. Our power blinked once for about 5 seconds but we still have power. Winds are supposed to die down to 35 to 45 mph for the rest of the day. Fourty to fifty thousand people out of power and temps are starting to drop. We have had the warmest December on record so far, I hope as soon as people get their power back we finally start having winter.

It’s starting here the next 24 hours might be interesting.

We have had one of the coldest Decembers I remember here.

We've had more wind than I, or other old timers can remember, and I mean wind, 35-40 knots with higher gusts 4-5 days a week, this has been going on since October....very strange weather pattern for us.
Tough to go to work, even in these mud puddles...
