I agree Lee makes a fine knife.
But, that's not what you asked. Out of what you asked, there is not even a close comparison. I've owned both knives. The necker is trash. The Caribou is top notch. I was convinced I was incapable of fleshing, until I threw out my necker and bought a caribou. The difference is that pronounced.
Proudly banned from the NTA.

I thought this might help to show the difference side by side. Funny the stuff you collect over the years. From the bottom up, necker 600 Lee's, caribou, pcs ausable, and i forget the top one. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/12/full-52768-278911-1000016358.jpg)

Yes I also use a smooth high carbon steel to tune and adjust the angle of the sharp edge. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/12/full-52768-278912-1000016359.jpg)

For me: #1 Lee's parallel #2 & close ZEPH #3 Caribou ( mostly just hangs on wall, to thin and limber for coyotes and cats. First one I had snaped in half. Was replaced at a discount from maker)
All good at being sharp. Never have used a Post. ??
