Hey gents,
I just got back from Italy, and I was totally surprised at what I witnessed. At least 25-30% of the women were wearing fur or fur trimmed garments as well as several men too. And this was in Naples! Not exactly cold at 65* during the day and 40's at night. I know when we go to Poland to see her family, it's not uncommon to see that. But I was surprised. Older women, 20-30 year olds, teens, even some children had fur on. Well, you know what they say, "when in Rome..." I decided to buy my wife another mink jacket while we were over there! An early Christmas present. She had been hounding for a sheared mink for a while.

When I was in France in 1978 about half the women on the streets wore nutria skin vests or jackets. Did my heart good and I always wondered if any of the pelts were mine.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

lots of fur here in the streets this year. Mostly mink, dyed bluefrost fox imitating sable, sheared beaver, red fox, etc. Plenty of very pretty hats, too. Local polls show that a half of all women are wearing fur this winter (not just trims or collars, full fur garments). Also see lots of young girls wearing realistic-looking faux fur coats imitating expensive furs (bobcat bellies etc), which is also good because faux fur is a "gateway drug".
I have two fur coats, for warmer and colder weather.
