What an eye opener!
I didn’t realize I was doing things the hard way. Bob helped me with a much better staking technique than what I was using. My stakes were way too long and made bedding more difficult. I am also making my trap pockets too large, making bedding solid much more difficult.
And he fine tuned some traps with a file! I want to try that myself!
Practiced bedding the traps in a corner of the yard.
He also brought me canned deer meat and a sample of that fifty dollar fruitcake!

Chuckie and I are very honored to have Bob come by and help us. We also had a lotta laughs!

He fixed up one real good and it’s hair trigger now!

One thing about getting your private lesson today is right after Christmas dinner you can set traps until New Years Day . Then you could see if your catch ratio goes up.
