I cut way back on how much trapline I was running to accommodate my wife’s health issues. She has to go with me every check because she cannot be left alone. The morning started out horrible. Snow and rain and the side by side wouldn’t start. The roads were awful. I ran back home to get the four wheeler and of course the side by side started then. I still took the four wheeler to be safe. I was sure I wouldn’t have anything today because the last couple nights have been horrible weather. But I had a coyote that found his way into a bobcat snare on a log crossing and this nice tom.

They aren’t predicting anything severe for the next 30 days. I’m going to spring all the traps Monday to spend Christmas with my mom. My little brother will be up from New Orleans so we’ll spend a few days catching up. I’ll keep an eye on the weather and hopefully get everything set back up.

Thank you but she won’t improve short of divine intervention. Dementia, recovering from a stroke and has acute aphasia (word salad) as a result of the stroke. Every conversation is a guessing game.
