Although I don’t seem to have any issue catching coyotes at my post sets/projection sets… the responses from my other post concerning the blue pvc pipe got me thinking. I’m probably missing coyotes.
I guess I can see how a coyote could get spooked by something new in the area.
It’s their front room.

I always set out burnt :charred pieces of wood and soak it with urine and a some gland lure. On the first day of season…. I’m catching coyotes…
There’s guys here who no doubt make me look like an amateur coyote trapper…do you guys place your attractions out ahead of time to avoid spooked dogs??get them used to seeing it on a regular basis?

My attractions come in a bottle or jar. Usually just put them out when I set the trap. Here's a flat set i just put in this evening

Way too unnatural. Will never catch a coyote that way. And all you need is a drop of donkey urine to catch them

Yeah looking at the pic now I'm wondering now how come I missed those dirt clouds at the bottom of the pics..... maybe a pup will come along
