Dave, I would think Spee Dee delivery would be much cheaper than the post office. Where are you sending them? Spee Dee is a upper Midwest vendor. WI, MN, IA, IL, MI and maybe the Dakotas are probably it. What traps are you getting rid of?

Spee Dee is cheapest IF it goes where you are shipping to.

Pirateship has discounted rates for both post office and UPS.

UPS has a surcharge if the package weighs more than 50 pounds. If you are shipping a lot of traps to one person, 2 or 3 smaller boxes might be better than 1 big one.

Post office has a rate called “cubic”. If your box is less than 20 pounds and smaller than 12x12x12 - the shipping rate is VERY cheap.

For our online retail online businesses we use usps flat rate for things that are smaller but pricy because we get tracking and customers like fast delivery. Amazon has set the shipping speed bar pretty high. For bigger heavier stuff: ups- usually under 50 lbs. As said before, ups gets expensive ovr 50 lbs so well ship in multiple boxes.. For pallets we use FedEx freight- mostly because they make shipping easy online.

It is trapping season. If you set them all and catch more fur. You’ll have money to pay for truck expenses.

Morgan Freeman. Maybe.

I do a fair amount of shipping and never saw the "Cubic" option.

I haven't used one in a while but I believe they are around $25 now. Miss Nancy told me long ago to experiment with "nesting" traps together to take up less room. When you are done, shake the snot out of them and you can likely squeeze another one or two in the box. Also, remember that good tape is your friend and use a lot of it. Back when I was selling traps, I would "pre-package" them before I listed them. If I could fit 14 1.5 coils in a large FR box, that is how I would sell them.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Not sure what to say. I was Pirate Ship and if the package meets the requirements, it always comes up as an option. It works for both Priority Mail and Surface mail. I think it is online only and not available over the counter.

What shipping program do you use? I would be happy to see if I can find that option for you. Thanks

I mostly use USPS Ground Advantage shipping.

Even though I have FedEx, UPS and USPS Accounts I still use pirate ship sometimes. I have used pirate ship for several years no issues. You do have to use a computer and printer.

I've always find when I have used traps I want to sell the trapping conventions are best for selling. The rates you get on pirate shipping are less than if you buy the same postage at the USPS.
