So, after I apply my gland scent, I have popsicle sticks to get my bait out (Widowmaker) and in the auger'd hole. Since we are not supposed to use our gloves we set traps with to apply scent, does the stick we apply bait with not have our hand scent on it?? Im new and THANKS

Yes and there's no problem with that if your bait or lures are actually any good.

Dry stick apply lure break the stick toss the part you touched or if you have a designated lure stick, wear garden gloves jam the stick or folded grass right in the hole. One pair of gloves to set and another pair to handle the stink. Lots of different ways to go about it.

My gloves always end up with stink on them. Does not seem to matter much. I use deer skin gloves. Toss in the washer, no soap, and just let air dry. Doesn't hurt the gloves either.

I wear gloves to set (only to keep from packing dirt so tight under my finger nails). When the set is made I pull them off, grab my lure/bait, use a butter knife to dip it out, and move on. Works for me. My hands stink by the end of the day, but it doesn’t seem to cause issues
