Only on Tman would we be talking about this. We must be getting old!

The Asian squat is a great way to get peristalsis to move things. I “assume the position” on the trap line too often as it is. This position gives your colon a straight shot vs sitting and grunting. And, this position gives relief to half the world’s population. It’s tried and true and goes right thru.

The squatty potty does the same thing. It’s not real comfortable but you’re not going to be sitting there very long, either.

Never too old to learn

I may be done in a few seconds but I enjoy the peace and quiet of sitting on the throne. I use the extra time to Face Time friends.

I have nothing clever to put here.

A couple of Pfeiffers would do the same thing. Problem is they don't make it anymore. laugh

It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Back in the late sixties during affirmative action the place I worked had 5 Nigerians working there. They were all working and going to school to become doctors. We kept noticing dirty foot prints on the seat of the stool. It had a high window next to it so we reasoned someone had to be standing on the stool to see out it. It was getting aggravating having to wipe the dirty shoe prints off to sit on the pot. So a couple of us started watching when someone would go to the restroom and someone would go in after a little bit to try to catch who was standing on the seat. Finally my buddy caught one of the Nigerians squatted on his feet taking a dump. Seems that was the only way they knew how to go, they were used to a path in the woods with no facility. We only had two toilets so they were designated to use only one and stay out of the other one.
Those guys wouldn't help anyone pickup or push anything, they said their backs hurt. Come to find out they all had kidney problems from drinking bad water over there in Nigeria. The best one I liked the most died from bad kidneys during his time there.
At times things here in America don't seem so good, but we are still the most blessed and don't realize it.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
