Pretty cool...we had one flamingo lost soul this past summer up here... it was hanging out with some geese, lol

Either your camera sucks, or they are a lot less pink than I pictured them. Still cool though!

Back when I was a kid in the seventies, it seemed like every older person's yard had a fading pink plastic flamingo. They started making them in 1957 and it seemed almost mandatory to have one if you lived through WWII.

Probably a Roseate spoonbill.

I believe it depends on how much shrimp they've eaten. More shrimp equals pinker

They get pink from the stuff they eat in their normal habitat, like little brine shrimp and bugs and such.
