Well after way too many targeted ads, I have decided to purchase a vevor diesel heater. My interest is in their efficiency, and portability should I decide to move it for camping or ice fishing. I have plenty of other heaters for my garage, a big maxx propane, a torpedo propane, a diesel torpedo, and multiple buddy heaters. My hope is that I can bring my garage up to temp with my big maxx and propane torpedo then use the new diesel heater to maintain that temp efficiently. Anyone else use one of these heaters for a shop?

I have a Mr. Heater Big Maxx bolted to the ceiling of our garage. It is rigged up to the house' natural gas system and connected to a thermostat. Works great and heats the 600 sq. ft. garage in no time at all.
Certainly not portable, though.

Just doing what I want now.

I see DeWalt sells a stand up propane heater that runs off of a 15lb tank.

Like this.
