Our local zoo up here just spent a pile of money on the fantasy wolves you speak of Savell. I hope you were in on the profit side of catching them for the display…LOL. Rub a little red clay dust on that ornery pup and he may be big $$$ to the donors if these places…

Most of those wolves are in the +200lb club…….but never saw a scale……lol. I just pulled a 90lber off a farmers land a couple days ago. He said there was a pack of 200lbers on his land and when I showed him and asked if this was one of ‘em he says….
“Probably not, the 9 in this pack are about a foot taller and a couple feet longer.”
Dam it! I’ll keep trying…….lol

Biggest wolf I've ever caught weighed less than 130 lbs, and it was chock full of moose meat. In my experience, the 200 pounders have been shot or trapped in bars and taverns!

Around here, the trappers that get one or two every few years tend to say the wolves in there area average +100, but they were never scaled. When I pulled this one into the truck box, I was honestly thinking it might be well over 100lbs, but the scale didn’t lie……lol. Belly wasn’t empty either.
