canned jack mackerel is cheap. catches coons pretty good. pick up some cats and coyotes too.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Spot on.. I use Dollar General canned mackerel with canned salmon and a little fish oil. Cheap and effective!

I caught a few coons, skunks, and fox on canned dog food years ago. The neighbors dog died so he gave me a case of the food he had left over. It worked good enough that I would use it again if I was given more of it, but I found other baits that I felt worked better.

You can catch "A" coyote on anything. My guess, without testing it specifically, its probably not the most effective.

I think you could do as well with the grease pan from the smoker

if you have ever tried dog food it really doesn't have much flavor , but a dog that has never tried to eat from the table can't resist a smoked brisket sliced and on the table without some great training.

do you want them glad to have food or so out of their mind for it that they will dance a Jig on your trap pan?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
