Anyone ever tried putting wooden rabbit traps in cages with domestic rabbits ? Swore I read somewhere doing that will get them all rabbity smelling and help entice wild rabbits ...but can't find it anyway who anyone tried it ?

I collect the urine saturated droppings found under a tame rabbits hutch and keep it for such cases.

You just put them in the trap when you set it out do you put them in ther and just let them sit beforehand?

I bait the trap but also use the scented droppings in the trap so as not to interfere with the trigger system. Rabbits can be difficult to catch as most find out.
