Interesting to watch him tuck the baggie pan cover in place with the same knife he uses to put bait down the hole with.

After owning this for several years, it’s one I would never get rid of and watch it yearly. My wife and I met Odon once at a trapping convention and talked with him a while. He was a genuinely nice man.

I noticed that too, K snow. He did always stick it in the dirt to clean it but that was an eye opener to me. Sometimes I get set in my perceived "only way to do things" that I probably waste lots of time and effort.

The last time I talked to him was at the FTA in Kansas, used his lure and bought a couple of his Airedales. A real standup guy had a quick sense of humor!

He also did what he could to eliminate an outsider from trapping his state
