It is louder when you are at the other side of it, but then you would have other things to worry about

Those look cool. I might buy.

They're cheap. Normal sounds flow through them, can still hear a whisper. But their sound protection level goes up the higher the decibels are, particularly for gun shots. And if you lose em, oh well.

I have one. I’m almost deaf and it’s still very loud for me.
