This is Andy Streiff. I'll be doing a four-part series today about Andy and some of the deer he took in northern Minnesota during the 1950s and 1960s.

In this poor quality photocopy of an original photo, Andy is seen with a great buck that he shot in Roseau County in the early 1960s. A member of his hunting party tagged this buck and "took it home to the Twin Cities". This deer, or its antlers, has not been seen since.

However, there are three more B&C qualifying whitetails with Andy's name attached, for which we know their history, scores, and locations. It's those three deer I will be featuring throughout the day.

Andy Streiff drove a milk truck for many years throughout Roseau and Lake of the Woods counties in northern Minnesota. The information he garnered while driving his early morning milk route would be crucial to his hunting

I bet there was some deer blood in the milk truck.

And, a couple spent rifle casings in the floorboard.

I need to throw a BS flag on that photo. The photo, quality, structure and clothing screams 1920's or 30's, not 1960's. Even more likely, AI.

I have nothing clever to put here.
