That's got to be a pretty rough adjustment for you folks. Kinda like when it's 100 degrees up here.

…. We were chilly … but the humidity was gone so wasn’t too bad … and driving on the snow didn’t seem to be a big deal

… our plumbing set up just wasn’t cut out for it

… I drained the well and the pipes in the house … but still had one bust where water settled in a dip

I don't mind our "cold" (upper 20's for lows) but when it gets to teens for day as Savell was talking about it causes problems.

I can keep warm but the infrastructure here is not designed for it


I was not a fan of Christmas day in shorts and a t shirt and sweating while I was outside.
Had the AC on for a few days

some of you folks need to try ks. below 0 every winter. above 100 every summer. best of both worlds

You don't want to spend the winter on the bucket do you? And just insulate your pipes and you never have to worry about it again.

At 29 we are still sitting on the deck with a morning cup of coffee.

if it's a sunny 29 with no wind , yes , cutting wood get kinda warm and get down to a t-shirt standing in the sun working.

if it's cloudy or got a breeze then a sweatshirt is good.
