So many people in my profession look down on that. I told them they have no idea of the bigger picture.

it absolutely does work. We have water lines run right on top of the ground that run all winter to water the cattle. We just crack the valve open some so it runs continuously, it just overflows the tank into the ditch. The pipe goes over a mile like that and keeps working all winter even in sub zero weather.

If it didn't work for you, you didn't have the water on enough.

You need more than a drip and the colder it is the more the water needs to flow.
