I was wondering what your guys thoughts are on making your own bait? I’m only trapping to help the turkeys, deer, quail and anything else bobcats or coyotes will eat. That and because I’ve always loved trapping🤣. I’ve been shooting some ducks and I kill deer pretty often as well. I was gonna make a concoction of duck, dove, rabbit, squirrel, deer, and bacon grease and just wanted to know if anyone else has had any luck doing something similar. The duck bodies after being cleaned have proven to be an excellent bobcat bait but I’m still struggling on the coyotes. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Buy some Dobbins bait solution from the products catalog on here and follow directions. I have caught bobcats, coon, coyotes, and fox with it.

Homemade bait can be good or bad. Just like store bought bait can be good or bad. I’ve got a homemade bait that’s beaver based that has worked good for me

If you don't eat the deer liver it's good fresh or very slightly aged.
