They've gotta keep the fiction up that they can pay the debt back. We're pretty close to the Wiemar Republic as it is. Don't collect taxes and we become zimbabwe overnight and China will come calling if the military doesn't hold them back. Really our money is backed by the military, cause it sure isn't "full faith and credit of the US government".

Sometimes the obvious look tells you something is wrong.
How you go about correcting it becomes troublesome.
