just caught my first yote. Now all I think about is catching coyotes LOL.

The more traps out the better off you are, they don’t catch anything if not set.

Bed that trap solid is usually the biggest mistake a new trapper makes digging a correct bed gets easier over time making it second nature.

Keep it simple. Sometimes we can make things more complicated than what it really is.

I am an older Trapper and that’s pretty much what I live for.
Develop good habits on the trapline . Bed traps solid .Study the animals habits . Become a student of the coyote. What part of Louisiana are you from.

Good tips. Also make sure you cannot pull trap stake. Nothing worst then a empty catch circle.

Hay bud filled this at tone of the Louisiana trapper conventions. Should be good info for you. Also if you haven't you need to try and link up with the Louisiana trappers association absolutely nothing but amazing people! Go buh Airport trapper on here he should be able to help ya
