Neighbor has a few deer and coyote salted hides. Looking to ship someplace for tanning and finished product. i.e. jacket, gloves hats. Any advice?
Thanks

Wild Things in WI have completed a lot of items for me. Great work and great people.

It might be a 2 step process, maybe 3. Very few tanneries make finished product and very few tanneries do both leather and hair on.

Moyles in south Idaho does great hair/fur on tanning, but they don’t do leather. Plus shipping salted items can get expensive. There are a couple of fur tanneries in NJ, which would be close to you - Berg and Z&L. I’m sure some one on here has their contact info.

Sleepy Creek in Iowa does fur tanning. I think there is a place in Minnesota that does deer “buckskin”.

Wild Things in Wisconsin makes very nice finished products. www.wildthingsfur.com.

Glacier Wear in Maine does good work also. www.glacierwear.com..

A gal by the name of Bonnie Brumett (sp??) does sewing as well. I think she might be a member here.

Bottom line - quite a few options out there. Good Luck.

Can’t go wrong with Sleepy Creek.
