Here the bounty is $10 per tail but it goes to 59 critters because they don’t want to do the 1099 IRS forms. That applies to a single household it might be a tax or county finance issue is my guess.

These bounties really drive the crazy cat ladies nuts we had a flood of antis from all over the country them folks just don’t get it and never will. Suddenly the pheasant was their invasive species and raccoons were important to them on the East coast. A lot of guys on here say the same thing it doesn’t work but 50,000 less nest raiders a year is a good start and it gets the kids involved.

It will be interesting to see what impact the skunk tail prices has on the collection numbers this year.

Macoupin county Illinois farm bureau 4 bucks per tail 2 times they buy up to 50 . I have over 100 that’s 400 bucks for my 20 buck membership

I wonder how many roadkill coons are missing tails?

Or go to a southern fur auction and buy a truck load for fifty cents each.

Maybe you could explain this a bit more? Is this a county agency or a private company? What is the point of them doing this? Sure is interesting.

Governor proposes a 0 dollar cola for state employees but we pay for road kill coon. It all makes so much sense….

That's $1 less then a 100, likely has something to do with W-2's and other gov red tape.

Farm bureau is a state wide thing in each county. Not all counties participate in the coon tail thing but if they’re willing to pay I’m gonna deliver. Take Jackson county Illinois farm bureau doesn’t buy coon tails but they pay 25 bucks per doe killed by members as long as you provide a picture and the tag and check in numbers my cousin likes this one since he gets 25 for his free land owner tags lol
